Gold+Ivory+Art Nouveau Style Wedding Invitations – Arts Ballroom – Titus Print – Philadelphia Wedding and Event Planner – Angela MALICKI events
We are lucky to say we have fabulous clients that love our creativity and appreciate our stationery designs. We worked closely with Amanda and Michael on their custom designed wedding stationery. They hosted their event at Arts Ballroom in Center City off Broad Street. Their colors were mostly – Cream, Gold, Pale Pink and Hints of Black. We wanted their stationery to reflect their event and style.
We started the process with a few sketches, paper samples, printing options and sizing. Our finished design was GORGEOUS! Amanda and Michael LOVED them and the menu cards, table signs, place cards looked fab at the Arts Ballroom.
The Gold and Ivory double layered invitation was printed in gold thermography (raised printing) with the couple’s logo we designed that was carried through out the event including the gobo on the dance floor and menu cards. The back panel was not just your plain typical gold cardstock. It was a 130 lb textured antique gold backed with handmade Lokta gold and cream patterned paper. Another detail utilized through out with their stationery.
As an alternative to “placecards” we offered another alternative of flat cards with hand written calligraphy. The back of the card had the same Lokta hand made gold and cream paper. These cards were mounted onto gold ribbon and tied on a gold tree the bride had made. It was a perfect centerpiece for the cocktail space.
